Your production line. Our side track.
Seven steps from the first mail to the finished sail — and how the printed panels branch off to sailprint.eu and merge back at assembly.
The sail takes the normal route. The graphics take a side track.
Your sail goes through the loft exactly as always. The printed panels branch off to sailprint.eu — and merge back in at assembly, numbered your way.
Seven steps. Nothing changes in the loft.
You design the sail. We print the graphics on the panels you point us to. You build the sail exactly as always. Seven steps, in order:
Nothing changes in the loft. Except the sail.

The brief
Which sail, which type — asymmetric or symmetric — which cloth, and the logo or artwork.
- sailprint.eu
The proposal
We come back with the best way to do the graphics on that sail and that cloth — and a mockup you can send to your client.
- Sailmaker
3D export
From your design software to TouchCAD. SailPack, SMAR Azure, SailMaker, ProSail — instructions here ›
- sailprint.eu
Panel split
We place the graphics and tell you which panels we print. You nest those separately and send us a DXF. The rest you cut in-house.
- sailprint.eu
Print
Each panel image goes onto your nested file, so warp and fill lie exactly as you planned. Standard cloth from stock — or you provide cloth.
- sailprint.eu
Cut & label
Cut by hand here, or with registration marks so they go straight into your cutter. Panel numbers and data as on your own panels.

Assembly
Your panels and ours go together like any other sail from your loft. We recommend gluing for optimal fit — but that's your call.
You sell the sail. We give you what it takes.
The proposal is not a quote and a shrug. It is the material you need to close the deal with your client — before anyone has committed to anything.
The logo placed on the actual sail geometry, the way it will fly. Send it straight to the client.
Colour on the real cloth, in the hand. If the client wants to see it before deciding, they can.
Which process, which panels, what it means for weight and price — laid out so you can explain it in one mail.
Alternative placements, a second colourway, a sponsor's brand guide checked. Whatever makes your business smooth.
Export the 3D sail. We take it from there.
We project the graphics in TouchCAD. Together with TouchCAD and the design software vendors we have built import routines, so whichever program you design in, there is a route. Pick yours and mail us — you get the guide as a PDF.
